Samsung Galaxy S - A New Class Smartphone
One of the leading mobile phone supplier Samsung Electronics, launched the latest addition to their collection of mobile phones, Samsung Galaxy S. This was introduced by Samsung JK Shin during his speech at the international Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new class of mobile phones by Shin must have a high quality screen, greater speed and better content. Galaxy S is capable of meeting all these criteria. Samsung Galaxy S describes them as "a new class of smartphones."
High Quality Screen
Android smartphone Galaxy S is equipped with 4.0 inch touch screen AMOLED super. Super AMOLED screen first seen on Samsung Wave. Touch sensors on the Super AMOLED screen is placed right on the screen. This eliminates the need for additional touch sensor panel and remove air gaps and to improve the sensitivity of touch.
This is perfect for playing HD video and internet browsing, Galaxy S is equipped with Digital Natural Image engine mobile phone which is also incorporated in the Samsung LCD and LED TVs. Unlike, other screens, super Amoled also provide a broader perspective and also less reflective which makes it easier to see whether indoors or outdoors.
Samsung has also collaborated with the boat which is a provider of e-book reader to bring e-books and magazines from different publications for the phone. Samsung fanatics will be pleased to know that apart from the Super AMOLED screen, the company also partnered with Paramount Pictures to bring download full length movies to mobile phones.

In addition to the benefits of having high-quality screen smartphone that most do not have, Galaxy S can run applications at speeds greater because it has inside the processor 1 GHz. This makes applications run faster than the Galaxy's other smartphones.

This phone will also run the Android 2.1 operating system. This is the latest mobile OS developed by Google. Galaxy S is equipped with 3G HSDPA that can go as fast as 7.2Mbps and Wi-Fi. These features allow users to connect to the Galaxy S WLAN connection for Internet browsing easier.

As with other smartphones that combine programs for social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Bebo, Galaxy S is also equipped with a Social Hub.
